Introducing Our New Dean of the Swiss School of Management Research Center
We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to the Swiss School of Management team – Dr. Vasileios Margaritis, who has taken on the role of Dean of the SSM Research Center. Dr. Margaritis brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and a strong commitment to research and education to his new position.
Meet Dr. Vasileios Margaritis
Dr. Vasileios Margaritis is an accomplished academic and research methodology expert with a strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methods. With an impressive career that spans across various academic institutions, he has been recognized for his contributions to the field of research and education.
Prior to joining SSM, Dr. Margaritis held academic positions at prestigious institutions such as Walden University in the United States and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. His role as the Vice Chair of Walden University’s Research Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee highlights his expertise in research methodology and academic leadership.
At the Swiss School of Management, Dr. Margaritis plays a pivotal role in teaching research courses and providing guidance to doctoral students. His passion for research is not limited to the classroom; he has also collaborated with national and international organizations, including UNICEF and KMOP, as a research methodology consultant.
Dr. Margaritis’s teaching portfolio covers a wide range of research-focused subjects, including Statistics (using R and SPSS statistical software), Advanced Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Research Methodology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health Theoretical and Conceptual Frameworks, Communication and Social Marketing, and many more.
His recent research interests reflect his diverse expertise and include areas such as Competitiveness & Innovation, Market Research, Behavioral Economics, Health Care Administration and Management, Organizational Climate, Small Business Readiness, Health Statistics, Public Health, Modern Epidemiology, Real World Evidence, Community Health Promotion and Education, Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance, and Mixed Methods Research Techniques.
Over the course of his academic career, Dr. Margaritis has demonstrated his exceptional ability as a supervisor for over a hundred doctoral students. His track record includes numerous relevant publications on both international and national scales.
Dr. Margaritis’s work extends beyond the classroom and research publications. He has also been involved in community-based research settings, contributing his expertise to a variety of projects. His role as a methodology and statistics expert has been instrumental in the success of many of these initiatives.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Margaritis resides in Athens, Greece, with his wife and two children.
