Vice President
Swiss School of Management

Our In-Residence Programs are located in different cities around the world, enabling our students to immerse themselves in internationalization fully and globalization streams.

As Vice President of the Swiss School of Management, I often reflect on what education should truly offer. To me, it is not only about acquiring knowledge or earning a qualification—it is about growth, direction, and the confidence to move forward with purpose. That is the spirit we try to cultivate at SSM.

We see education as a journey that shapes how individuals think, how they relate to others, and how they make decisions in moments that matter. Our role is to create an environment where students feel both challenged and supported—where they are encouraged to question, to explore, and to develop their own voice.

What makes this experience meaningful is not only what happens in the classroom, but also what happens around it. Conversations with faculty who bring real-world insight, exchanges with classmates from different parts of the world, and moments of reflection about one’s own path all contribute to a deeper kind of learning—one that stays with you long after the program ends.

The coaching element is especially close to this philosophy. It is not about giving answers, but about helping students ask better questions—about themselves, their goals, and the kind of impact they want to have. Through this process, many begin to see their potential more clearly and gain a stronger sense of direction.

Equally important is the international dimension of the experience. Being surrounded by diverse perspectives naturally broadens one’s understanding of the world. It teaches flexibility, respect, and the ability to connect across differences—qualities that are increasingly important, not only in business, but in life.

At the end of the day, what matters most to us is not just where our students go next, but who they become along the way. If they leave SSM with greater clarity, stronger confidence, and a sense that they are capable of shaping their own path, then we have done something meaningful.

*To all our students—current and future—I sincerely wish you the courage to pursue your ambitions, the curiosity to keep learning, and the resilience to grow through every challenge. May your journey be not only successful, but truly fulfilling.*

In addition, I firmly believe that a global perspective is essential in today’s interconnected society. Our commitment to international exposure ensures that our students develop a deep understanding of diverse cultures, markets, and business practices.

Through our extensive network of partner institutions, exchange programs, and international internships, we offer our students unparalleled opportunities to immerse themselves in different environments, broaden their horizons, and foster cross-cultural competence. This global outlook equips our graduates with a competitive edge, enabling them to thrive in an increasingly globalized economy.”

We strongly encourage our students to study abroad in other SSM In-Residence centers. Currently, you can choose to study in five different cities: Rome, Brescia, Barcelona, Cairo, Dubai, and Bahrain. For executive students who are currently employed, we offer online learning options for all our programs. One of the features we are most proud of is our SWISS-COACHING service for students. We offer life and business coaching sessions for free, ensuring that every student at the Swiss School of Management has the opportunity to receive expert guidance from experienced Coaches.

At the Swiss School of Management, Education in and out of the classroom is readily available. Our faculty are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. With relatively small class sizes, you will have the opportunity to know the faculty and work with them side by side on business and research projects.

If you are looking to prepare for a career in business and want to receive an excellent education in an ideal environment, SWISS SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT is the perfect choice. Welcome on board!

Warmest regards,
Dr. Massimiliano
