Education and Early Achievements
A distinguished graduate of Harvard Business School, John Chisholm’s academic journey began with an MBA from the esteemed institution in 1978. His earlier years were marked by his dedication to learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he earned a S.M. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science in 1976, specializing in digital signal processing. John’s academic excellence was evident from his undergraduate days at MIT, where he obtained a S.B. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science in 1975. His exceptional leadership skills were already evident during his high school years when he served as the Student Council President and emerged as the Valedictorian of the Class of 1971 at Jupiter High School, Florida.
Entrepreneurial Journey
John Chisholm’s professional journey has been a tapestry of visionary entrepreneurship and impactful leadership. Since 2009, he has been at the helm of John Chisholm Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco. His role as CEO involves angel investing and providing high-tech entrepreneurial consultancy services, solidifying his reputation as a shrewd business strategist.
John’s entrepreneurial journey includes founding and leading several pioneering technology companies. Notably, he founded CustomerSat, Inc. in 1997, serving as its CEO and Chairman until 2008. CustomerSat was a trailblazer in enterprise feedback management and has since become part of ConfirmIt. His legacy also includes the founding of Decisive Technology Corporation, a groundbreaking venture that automated surveys on the internet, a concept that is now integral to modern online interactions.
