We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to the esteemed Advisory Board of the Swiss School of Management (SSM) – the accomplished entrepreneur and product designer, Rajesh M Nair.
With an impressive 30 years of industry experience and a vast portfolio of over a hundred innovative products, Rajesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the SSM family. His journey as a trailblazing entrepreneur includes successfully starting and running four for-profit startups and establishing a non-profit organization. Rajesh’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship is evident in his role as a system thinker, Design Thinking practitioner, entrepreneurship coach, and Design & Making mentor. His workshops have catalyzed the growth of more than 50 student startups, showcasing his passion for nurturing the next generation of innovators.
Education lies at the heart of Rajesh’s mission, and he holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Management with a focus on System Design & Management from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Rajesh’s academic achievements also include a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, a Post Graduate Diploma in Electronic Product Design from the Indian Institute of Science, and Bachelor’s degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Physics from Kerala University.
Rajesh’s diverse experiences and contributions extend to various organizations and initiatives. As the Founder and Chief Mentor of EnCube Labs, he has been at the forefront of developing programs that nurture entrepreneurship abilities among students, schools, and communities. His dedication to fostering resilience in entrepreneurs during challenging times is evident in his role as a Co-Investigator for the EntREsilience Research Program.
In the academic realm, Rajesh has served as a Professor of Practice and Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur. His vision has been instrumental in establishing workshops for product design and digital fabrication, as well as the first FabLab in Malaysia.
We are confident that Rajesh’s expertise and passion for innovation will be invaluable to SSM’s Advisory Board, as we continue to uphold our commitment to excellence in education and entrepreneurship. His personal mission to nurture a million innovators and entrepreneurs in underserved communities aligns perfectly with our institution’s core values.
