The International Student Week has officially begun at the vibrant campus of Swiss School of Management Rome, bringing together ambitious students, international perspectives, and real-world business challenges in a unique immersive experience designed to connect academia with industry.

This year, SSM Rome is proud to collaborate with ICARO, an innovative startup founded by four young entrepreneurs united by a shared vision: rediscovering and giving new life to the wines of the Castelli Romani through a natural, accessible, and community-driven approach.
Throughout the week, participants will work directly on a real international business challenge, developing a strategic market entry plan for the Asian market to support ICARO’s global expansion journey. The project allows students to move beyond theoretical learning and engage with the complexities of international business, branding, consumer behavior, and cross-cultural strategy in a practical and collaborative environment.
What makes this experience especially valuable is its strong connection between academia and the professional world. Guided by industry experts, students will participate in workshops, interactive sessions, and hands-on activities designed to encourage strategic thinking, innovation, and teamwork. From market analysis to creative positioning, every aspect of the challenge reflects the dynamics of real business consulting and entrepreneurial decision-making.
The International Student Week is more than an academic initiative. It is an opportunity for students from different backgrounds to exchange ideas, build international connections, and develop solutions capable of generating real impact. By combining creativity, strategy, and cultural awareness, the program encourages participants to think globally while recognizing the importance of local identity and authentic storytelling in today’s business landscape.
As the week officially begins, the campus of SSM Rome becomes a hub of innovation, collaboration, and international energy, once again demonstrating how education can serve as a bridge between young talent and the evolving global marketplace.
