Recently, our MBA and BBA students from SSM Rome visited the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to observe how international institutions operate and how global policies are translated into real-world initiatives.
During the visit, students gained insight into key areas such as sustainable development, global food security, and international cooperation. Experiencing these topics within the context of a leading global organization allowed them to move beyond academic concepts and better understand their practical implications.
The visit also offered a closer look at how large-scale institutions manage complex challenges through collaboration, strategic planning, and policy implementation across different regions and stakeholders.
We would like to thank the FAO for welcoming our students and faculty and for providing such an insightful experience. Opportunities like this play an important role in helping our students develop a broader perspective on global business and the responsibilities that come with future leadership roles.
