SSM Rome hosts Tech4Fem Italy and Oklahoma State University for an Inspiring Cross-Cultural Exchange

The Swiss School of Management Rome recently welcomed Tech4Fem Italy alongside a group of students from Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business for a dynamic and thought-provoking session on campus. The event brought together diverse perspectives from across disciplines and geographies, reinforcing SSM’s commitment to fostering global dialogue and innovation

Exploring the Future of Femtech

At the core of the session was an introduction to Tech4Fem, an initiative dedicated to advancing innovation in the femtech space, an emerging sector focused on technology-driven solutions for women’s health and wellbeing. Participants were guided through the evolution of the femtech ecosystem, gaining insights into its rapid growth, market potential, and societal impact.

The discussion was enriched by contributions from Rome-based femtech startups, offering real-world perspectives on challenges and opportunities within the industry. These firsthand insights allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, bridging the gap between academia and entrepreneurship.

A Truly International Learning Environment

The session stood out for its diversity of participants, with students coming from backgrounds in marketing, management, finance, and international business. This multidisciplinary mix created a vibrant environment where ideas could be exchanged freely, encouraging critical thinking and collaborative learning.

Rather than a traditional lecture, the event evolved into an interactive dialogue, where participants engaged with speakers, asked questions, and shared their own viewpoints.

Beyond the academic value, the event served as a platform for networking and professional connection. Students had the opportunity to interact not only with guest speakers but also with peers from different cultural and educational backgrounds. These interactions are essential in preparing future leaders to operate in increasingly globalized and interconnected business environments.

By bringing together institutions such as Oklahoma State University and organizations like Tech4Fem Italy, SSM continues to expand its global network and provide students with exposure to emerging industries and diverse perspectives.

The Swiss School of Management extends its gratitude to Tech4Fem Italy, Oklahoma State University, and all participants who contributed to making this session both engaging and impactful.
