The Swiss School of Management Barcelona recently hosted an International Students Week, welcoming visiting students from UCLL University of Applied Sciences and EPHEC University College. The week-long program brought together students from different countries to explore innovation, global business, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Held under the theme “AI-Powered Global Business: Innovate, Adapt, Lead,” the program combined lectures, industry experiences, and collaborative activities, offering participants an immersive academic and cultural experience in Barcelona.
The week began with welcome remarks and an introduction to the program, followed by a cultural session on Spanish and Catalan traditions. Through interactive activities and Spanish conversation exercises, students were able to connect with their international peers while discovering the local culture.

Academic sessions focused on the role of artificial intelligence in global business and leadership. Students attended lectures on AI collaboration, future tech skills for business leaders, and emerging technologies shaping the global workforce. A highlight of the week was the visit to the Mobile World Congress, where students explored cutting-edge innovations and gained insights from global technology leaders.

The program concluded with student presentations, where participants shared their perspectives on AI-powered global business and the key insights gained throughout the week.
International Students Week reflects the SSM’s commitment to international collaboration, experiential learning, and preparing students to lead in an AI-driven global economy.
