Alexandra was born and educated in England. She earned her degree in Theology from the University of Durham, specialising in Philosophy and Italian language and literature. She trained as a teacher at the University of Cambridge, and then spent ten years teaching in a variety of public and state schools in London and Berkshire. For eight years, she has held various senior management roles, developing a particular interest in teaching students with learning difficulties and those for whom English is not their first language. She has a long standing love of Italy, since first visiting the country when she was seven years old, and finally moved to Rome at the start of 2016 to pursue a freelance career in teaching, tutoring and counselling. Since 2016, she has joint the Swiss School of Management facylty, teaching Business Ethics, Organizational Behavior and HRM.
