Graduation and Leadership Award Ceremony 2018

Graduation and Leadership Award Ceremony 2018

We had many touching moments last Saturday, September 15th, 2018 during this year’s Graduation and Leadership Award Ceremony at Swiss School of Management. Our Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor & MBA students, together with our faculty members and all our guests, were all united in a Cavern, which used to be the ground-floor of the Old Theater of Pompeo (the second most relevant theater after the Colosseum during the Roman Empire), just few meters away from where Julius Cesar was stabbed by Brutus. It all begun with a a-cappella song of “Amazing Grace” before President, Dr. Massimiliano Bracalé, took his word to welcome the audience. One by one, our students were called by name and title and invited to come in front to receive their award or degree. All faculty members were invited in front too, receiving their credits with a big applause from students and parents, for the great job they did throughout the academic year. This year’s Leadership Award went to Dr. Raffaele Maccioni, for his achievements in Operations Management and for his contribution to the Swiss School of Management. The second Leadership Award went to Prof. Marshall Langer, for his dedication and commitment to always give the maximum support to our MBA students during his Finance and Accounting courses. The President also nominated Prof. Paolo Bongarzoni in his new position as Vice Dean. We would like to congratulate all candidates for their achievement and wish them all the best on their way to become successful leaders.
