With this club we can facilitate the combination of academics and action to create a lasting impact on our communities and around the world.
“Greetings to everyone,
First of all, I want to say a very big thank you to the Swiss School of Management for giving us this opportunity. My name is Erica Duru. As the president of our newly founded Rotaract club, I am honoured to be working with all you amazing and intelligent people.
With the beginning of this new tenure, I want us to be impactful and influential before the end of our lovely run; this is my goal for us all. I want each one of us to feel belonged, and make our voices heard. We have to create ideas on how we can better the lives of people and make the world a better place. Every idea is welcomed and will definitely be discussed among ourselves to find the best ideas we can work on. Let us all try to grow in mutual friendship rather than just colleagues working together.
With that said, i leave you all with a saying; “After planting a seed, it doesn’t just germinate immediately, it takes time, virtue, patience, hard work and consistency of feeding it with water and sunlight to blossom into a tree. As we have planted these seeds, let us take our time, virtue, patience and consistency to water and grow our tree into something amazing. Thank you.\”
