As the world progresses, changes in perspective are constantly adapting. Today, we are witnessing
a new Era of Knowledge. We have become accustomed to having access to information at our
fingertips, but are we using this knowledge in a productive way? Managing organizations is not as
easy as it may sound despite this abundance of knowledge. We need to get smart to lead
successfully, and that is what we will be discussing with Prof. Dennis Trotta.
About the speaker
Prof. Dennis Trotta is a Lecturer and Researcher in Human Resource Management. He earned his
degree in Management from the University of Milan. He got his Ph.D. in Management Engineering
from the University of Padua, where he focused on the analysis of Industry 4.0 and the future of
work. He also spent a research period at the University of Twente where he investigated Smart
Industry and its effect on HRM. Moreover, Dennis has a keen interest in the recent technological
development and its intersection with Human Resource Management. He has lectured about
Human Capital, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management and Organization Theory
in Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. Dennis firmly believes in the transformative power of teaching.
He lectures with a clear goal in mind: establishing a successful student experience by relying on
active learning.
