Since its founding in 1991, the Swiss School of Management has proudly held EduQua certification for over 25 years. As Switzerland’s first quality label dedicated to adult continuing education, EduQua stands as a nationally recognized benchmark for educational excellence and institutional credibility. Today, more than 1,000 institutions across the country are certified under this esteemed standard.
What is EduQua?
EduQua is a certification scheme supported and recognized by the Swiss Confederate Government. It serves as the leading quality assurance standard for institutions in general, further, and professional education. It ensures quality in key areas such as teaching, program structure, learning outcomes, and institutional development.

The value of EduQua certification is strengthened by its endorsement and supervision by several key Swiss bodies, including:
- SBBK – Swiss Conference of VET Offices
- SECO – State Secretariat for Economic Affairs
- SVEB – Swiss Federation for Adult Learning
- VSAA – Association of the Swiss Employment Centers
- EDK – Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education
In many cantons, EduQua certification is now a prerequisite for receiving public funding, further underlining its importance in the educational landscape of Switzerland.
