Swiss School of Management Receives Institutional Accreditation from DEAC, Distance Education Accrediting Commission

Bellinzona, Switzerland – July 21, 2024 – The Swiss School of Management proudly announces that it has been granted institutional accreditation by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). This significant milestone underscores SSM’s dedication to providing high-quality distance education and upholding rigorous educational standards.

The DEAC met on June 21, 2024, to review SSM’s application for initial accreditation. Following a comprehensive evaluation, the Commission voted to grant SSM accreditation for a period of three years, extending through June 2027. This accreditation recognizes SSM’s commitment to educational excellence, ethical business practices, and continuous improvement.

“Accreditation by DEAC is a reliable indicator of the value and quality of the distance education that an institution offers. In receiving this initial grant of accreditation, SSM has demonstrated its commitment to educational standards and ethical business practices that assure quality, accountability, and improvement in higher education,” said Leah K. Matthews, Executive Director of DEAC.

The scope of SSM’s accreditation includes its in-residence component sites in Rome and Brescia, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Cairo, Egypt; and Manama, Bahrain.
